Children’s Church is conducted on the 1st and 4th Sundays of each month during the 11:00 A.M. services where the children are led into worship through activities and biblical studies.

 

Deacon Ministry - Bro. Henry White, Chairman

To promote leadership through Biblical Principles, Develop personal relationships with the congregation by being a Godly example, Meeting the needs of the congregation and assisting the pastor as needed.

According to New Testament teachings in the book of Acts, there were women who served in the early church by ministering to the needs of others. This ministry is designed with the same purpose of serving both the physical and spiritual needs of our congregation.

 

Fulfillment Hour Sunday School / Vacation Bible School- Bro. Oscar Harmon, Superintendent

To provide a biblical based ministry for everyone in our community to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ through Teaching, Evangelism, and outreach.

Girls 4 Christ Ministry - 

Designed to teach girls ages six (6) to eighteen (18) self worth and purity with their heart, soul, mind, and strength and guiding them to grow stronger through God's word.

Calvary’s Hospitality provides holy and welcoming service and assistance to church worshippers. This ministry is geared toward all visitors and members of Calvary.

Inspirational Choir - Sis. Dora Kennison, President

The Calvary Adult Choir is designed to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through songs, enhance the music ministry of the church, to admonish one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing unto grace in our hearts to the Lord.

This ministry is designed to promote missions, stewardship, fellow ship, Christian education, and evangelism for the women of our church.

Usher Ministry - Bro. Aubery Matthews, President

Calvary’s Usher Ministry provides opportunities for the youth and adults to orderly and courteously seat church worshippers. This ministry consists of men and women who assist to the congregation and Pastor while they are in the Sanctuary.

 

Youth Ministry - Sis. Nicole Greene, Youth Director

The Youth Ministry, ministers ages 12 – 24 unmarried, through biblical instructions, and positive role modeling. Coordinating youth effort involvements in home and foreign missions. Promote youth activities through fun and fellowship.

 

Young Voices of Praise - Sis. Christine Bellamy, Sis. Anna Harmon & Sis. Nonica Parker, Choir Matrons

To have children and youth develop a relationship with Jesus Christ as they grow and mature in understanding that God loves them and that He wants to receive their love in return through the ministry of singing and praising.
