Evangelism Ministry Report
Evangelism Outreach Ministry:
~On February 13, the Prayer Team prayed while 2 Evangelism Team went door-to-door. A total of 18 doors were knocked on and 18 tracts were issued. 1 person requested prayer, 1 person accepted Christ and 1 follow-up visit was conducted.
~The Evangelism Team is now working the area of The Village.
~Evangelism Outreach Ministry training is held each 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 6:30pm in Room 111; and each 2nd Saturday at 9:30am in Room 110. The next Evangelism Training will be held on Wednesday, March 10, at 6:30pm. All are welcome.
Men’s Prison Ministry:
~On January 29, the Men’s Prison Ministry ministered to 54 inmates at Phelps Correctional Center. 1 accepted Christ, 2 came forth for rededication and 6 requested special prayer.
~On January 30, the Men’s Prison Ministry ministered to 6 inmates at Phelps Correctional Center.
~On February 13, the Men’s Prison Ministry ministered to 4 inmates at the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center. 1 came forth for rededication.
~On February 25, the Men’s Prison Ministry ministered to 15 inmates at the Calcasieu Sheriff’s Prison.
Women’s Prison Ministry:
~On February 7, the Women’s Prison Ministry ministered to 25 inmates at the Calcasieu Parish Women’s Prison. All who were present acknowledged their salvation. 3 requested special prayer.
~Women’s Prison Ministry is held each 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 6:30pm in Room 111. All are welcome.
~Note: Those join the Women’s Prison Ministry must first complete the 8-week Evangelism Training through Reverend Robinson before attending the 8-week training through Sister Harrison. Both training sessions must be complete before actively participating when visiting the Women’s Prison. Those who join the Men’s Prison Ministry must first complete the 8-week Evangelism Training through Reverend Robinson before actively participating when visiting the Correctional Center.
Juvenile Ministry:
~On February 8, the Juvenile Ministry visited the Calcasieu Parish Juvenile Detention Center and ministered to 14 youth.
Food Ministry:
~On February 18, the Food Ministry served 51 and shared a bible lesson with 32 individuals. 7 requested special prayer
